GATHERINGS
Writing in community is a way of caring for and holding one another.
For me, the in-person and virtual gatherings I’ve led have taken the shape of ritual spaces, where writing has woven itself together with other creative and sensory practices, such as art, tarot, yoga, aromatherapy, embroidery, and more.
These group spaces have brought together:
- Writing exercises and rituals for settling into language.
- Activities, creative practices, and ways of knowing that awaken intuition and strengthen expression.
- A range of readings, literary and non-literary, that nourish and expand our perspective.
- Exercises for connecting with your own written voice and listening to others’.
- Circles that hold, support, and celebrate every step forward.

A MOMENT TO WRITE
On June 24th, two earthquakes shook Venezuela. For those that are living over there, it has meant loss, fear, rebuilding, day-to-day uncertainty. For those of us outside of the country, in many cases and in a different sense, it has too, because distance doesn’t stop you from feeling the blow, or the loss.
Since then I’ve been sharing information, donations, messages, like so many of us. Checking the phone nonstop. Asking how everyone is. Asking again the next day. And at some point in those weeks, somewhere between doing and thinking about what else to do, I started wondering what Lunaria Ritual, this writing space I’ve been building for a while now, could offer.
For me, writing has always been a refuge, a place where words hold me up when everything feels uncertain. So this is what I thought of: a weekly gathering, open and free, to read and write in the company of others.
It’s not a class, and it’s not therapy. It’s not about guiding anyone’s emotional process either. Each week I’ll bring a reading, a type of text, or an intention (sometimes an image, a word, a literary piece by a Venezuelan author) and from there we’ll write together. No experience needed, and you don’t have to show what you wrote. Camera on or off, whatever feels comfortable to you.
If you’re there or far away, if reading or writing with others calls to you, let me know!
The Invisible Language of Tarot
We invite you to sharpen your eye, tune your intuition, and discover, through tarot, new ways of reading the symbols around you!
Mafe, of Mafe Mentorship, and Monica, of Lunaria Ritual, join forces for the third time to open a space where tarot becomes a bridge between intuition and visual language.
In this workshop, we’ll come together to explore cards, images, words, and silences. We’ll play with symbolism and the senses, letting ourselves be guided by the intuitions that surface as we look, write, and share in circle.
Aromatherapy with Meaning
In this workshop, we’ll explore how essential aromas can become a tool for improving our breathing, boosting our immune defenses, and calming the nervous system, all while allowing ourselves to relax, indulge, and write out sensations.
So, Monica of Lunaria Ritual and Carol of Ananda Vital come together to invite you to an afternoon of serenity, deep connection, and subtle movement. This will be a chance not only to put ourselves first, but to immerse ourselves in an experience that boosts our energy, offering us self-care and permission to receive it.
Tarot for Closing Out the Year
Lean on tarot and creative writing to close out what needs closing!
In this workshop, we’ll get to know the major arcana of the Rider-Waite tarot as a tool for self-knowledge. Through creative writing exercises, you’ll find a theme, situation, or person you want to reflect on. Drawing on the symbols of the tarot cards, you’ll receive insight into what you want to close out in this coming year.
We invite you to an afternoon of openness and reflection!
Tarot, Writing, and Tea
Tarot, with its symbolism and archetypes, works like a mirror reflecting parts of our own psyche, inviting us to explore the journey inward. That’s why, in this workshop, we’ll draw on the major and minor arcana of tarot as catalysts for introspection and creative writing.
We want you to join us on a journey inward, using these tools, with a delicious cup of tea in hand!
